Well it's finally here.....the school year has officially started!! While I have mixed feelings about this, I am glad it's started. Alyssa was really excited for school to start this year but when I kissed her goodbye at her desk this morning, she burst into tears :( This nearly caused me to start to bawl along with her but one of us had to be strong and I figured it should be the one who gave birth!!! I got her settled down and I haven't got a call from the school saying she won't quit crying so I imagine it was all first day jitters!!! I snapped a few pictures of her this morning and if you noticed on some of her smiles, she'd missing one of her top front teeth!!! I pulled it out last night (I had to bribe her with $5...plus the tooth fairy gives her $5. It was an expensive night!!). I don't think that a second or a third grade teacher get to see their students with a full set of teeth!!! This years school pictures should be a good one!!

Hey there! Okay,so I am officially leaving a message or a comment... whatever it's called!. You totally look awesome in that blue dress and I think you should get the top tattoo. That's what I would get if I could handle the idea of getting one. Are you going to go to LA Ink to get it done?
Anyway, I do read... sorry I haven't commented before. I enjoy your entries. I actually find a lot of inspiration in them. Keep it up!
poor girlie!!! :) i would cry too if my Mommy followed me around on my first day of school and took tons of pictures of me!! haha..i'm TOTALLY kidding, because you know from my picture taking skills that Kamryn's EVERY move will be photographed on her first day!! :) she looks so cute without her tooth! and how crazy that you have a girlie in grade TWO!! wow.
Man, I can totally remember my first day of Grade 2. I cant believe that she is in Grade 2. It just seems like yesterday we were in Bible School. Okay, well that was a stretch, but it doesnt seem that long ago. How fast time flies by....
Aww Poor Alyssa... I am sure once she gets settled she will be fine. Chase is really anxious and nervous about going into Grade 3.
