Family Fun Day in Las Vegas!
We went to Las Vegas on Friday for the night. The Girl Scouts were having a Family Fun Day at Circus Circus in the Adventuredome which is an indoor amusement park. Alyssa had a lot of guts and went on most of the rides by her self including the roller coaster that had 2 loops, the slingshot and the log ride (mostly 'cuz Chris and I didn't have tickets to ride). Brooklyn wanted to go on all the rides but she was too short!! The temperature was 104 F (42 C) which is waaaay too hot to really do anything outside except swim in the pool and have a daiquiri which I did!! Your shoes felt like they were melting while we're were walking from the van to the hotel or mall! Chris got a little heat stroke and we weren't even outside that long!! Big Canadian baby couldn't handle the heat!!! LOL :o) Here are some pictures of the girls on the rides. They had a blast!

42c??!?!?!?! OMG, I can't even imagine that! It's like 30 here and I'm at my boiling point!! Alyssa is one brave little girl, I won't even go on those kinds of rides! Sounds like it was fun!
I am loving the photos that you put up of the girls. They are growing up so quick and beautifully I might add. Please say hi from me though they probably won't remember me...lol.

Hey Michelle - yep, I found you :) I've been slacking on reading blogs lately, though!
I can't imagine being in that kind of heat! I definitely need a place to cool off if it's that hot :) Your girls sure are brave to do those rides!
Oh my gosh that reminds me of 4 years ago when some friends and I went to the Creation festival at the Gorge. We called it the armpit hole of hell. It was the worst heat we had EVER experienced. It gets like that here too... but I've been enjoying thunder storms for the last few days.
Can't wait to hit Las Vegas with ya.
